ATLANTA, Ga., May 20, 2011—Bauder College now offers the Bauder Commitment, which allows qualified students to enroll in a program and attend classes before incurring a long-term financial obligation.
“We stand behind the quality educational experience we offer and the Bauder Commitment gives our new students the opportunity to make an informed decision about their educational future,” Charles A. Taylor, president of Bauder College, said. “The Bauder Commitment is the first step in our students’ paths to attain their educational and career goals.”
Students starting at Bauder College as of June 8, 2011, will be conditionally admitted into their certificate, diploma or degree program. During this conditional admittance period, students can assess whether the coursework meets their educational needs and choose to withdraw for any reason without being responsible for any tuition or costs of attendance, other than the $45 enrollment fee.
Students’ academic performance will be assessed throughout the first weeks of their program to help them determine whether they are likely to be successful in their chosen course of study. Those who meet the academic requirements at mid-term will be officially accepted and continue with their program.
“With the Bauder Commitment, we are making an investment in our students to ensure they are completely confident they have made the right decision to further their education,” Taylor added.
Bauder College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). SACS is listed as a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.
