ATLANTA, Ga., January 7, 2011—Bauder College will hold a graduation ceremony today for 248 students. The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at the Robert Ferst Center for the Arts at Georgia Tech, 349 Ferst Drive NW.
The Atlanta-based school will recognize students for earning a bachelor's degree, associate degree or certificate in one of five fields including allied health, business, criminal justice, design or information technology. Upon graduating, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study.
"Today's graduation is the culmination of hard work and dedication to personal and professional growth," Charles Taylor, president of Bauder College, said. "We look forward to hearing about the continued successes of our graduates as they continue their lifelong education with the newly acquired knowledge and skills they earned at Bauder College."
According to the Georgia Occupational Projections, a report by the Georgia Department of Labor, computer support specialist positions will increase by 16 percent, correctional officer positions by 19 percent and medical assistant positions by 45 percent between 2006 and 2016.
Bauder College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). SACS is listed as a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.
