ATLANTA, June 17, 2010—Georgia State Rep. Tyrone Brooks will address 194 Bauder College graduates at a ceremony on Saturday, June 19.
The graduation will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Robert Ferst Center for the Arts at Georgia Tech, 349 Ferst Dr. NW.
The Atlanta-based school will recognize students for earning bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees or certificates in fields including allied health, business, criminal justice, information technology and design. Upon graduating, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the most recent State of Georgia Occupational Projections, a report by the Georgia Workforce Development, Policy and Information Division, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 46 percent and computer support specialist positions by 16 percent from 2006 to 2016.
Bauder College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). SACS is listed as a regionally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.
