Professional Student Services 

No matter what field of study you choose at Bauder College, one of the first places you’ll want to visit is our Career Services office, located in the Career Center. The Career Services department can provide you firsthand information on what it takes to succeed in your chosen career. You’ll find out what job search strategies get you noticed and how to create an effective portfolio. Plus, you can collect examples of your completed projects and papers to present to future employers.

 

Your success beyond the classroom is important to us. We offer individual career planning and assessments to help you craft the most effective employment search strategies. Learn to write effective cover letters and resumes and sharpen your interviewing skills so that you can make a favorable first impression with prospective employers. We can also guide you in identifying job openings by using local newspaper classified ads and by searching the Internet.

Part-Time Jobs

Many students work on a part-time basis during school to help finance their education. If you require assistance in securing part-time employment while attending classes, the Career Services department will make every effort to assist you in your search.

We offer services such as:

  • Improve your interview skills
  • Develop an attention getting resume
  • Provide you with the tools needed for a successful job search
  • Videotape your mock job interviews

Additional Resources

Another key part of the Career Center is the Career Resource Library. It’s filled with reference materials on career trends, job outlooks, salary projections, and ways to improve job skills. In addition, continuous career services are available to all eligible graduates. Those who require additional assistance after their initial employment can contact Bauder College to provide updated resume information. We encourage you to use every available resource in the Career Services department.
